Company tax burden comparison.

Enter one profit figure and see what the company and its owner pay on it in Paraguay and up to sixteen other countries — company tax, dividend tax and what is left.

Profit before tax.

Headline rates with the owner resident in the same country, at the top dividend rate where it is progressive. Small-company bands, state and local taxes, treaties and credits beyond those noted are left out. An indication, not advice.

What the comparison does — and does not — tell you.

  • ✓

    It compares like with like

The same profit, taxed in a company and then paid to an owner living in the same country.

  • ✓

    Owning from abroad is different

If you live in one country and own a company in another, both countries can tax the dividend. The “owner abroad” line shows only the Paraguayan part.

  • ✓

    Low rates need real substance

A Paraguay company taxed at 10% only works if it is genuinely run from Paraguay; your home country’s CFC and residence rules decide the rest.

  • ✓

    Top rates are deliberate

Progressive dividend taxes are shown at the top rate, which is where most owners deciding on structure actually sit.
